Art Competition
“My nationality and culture
in Silesia”

We invite children and families to participate in an artistic journey through the cultures of the world!

As part of the preparations for the Silesian Multicultural Picnic 2026, we are organizing an art competition that is an opportunity to express yourself, your identity, and your heritage. We want to celebrate the multicultural character of our region together!

About the competition

The goal of the competition is to appreciate diversity, build attitudes of respect, and foster integration. We are waiting for works that creatively show your nationality or culture in the context of Silesia.

For whom: Children aged 3 to 14.
Technique: Any flat work (e.g., painting, drawing, collage, photomontage, computer graphics).
Format: A3 or A4.
Participation: Free and voluntary.

Age categories

Children of preschool age (3-6 years) – work together with parents
Children aged 7-10
Children aged 11-14

until 25.05.2026	Submit competition works along with the entry card and declarations.
27.05.2026	Announcement of results on the website.
30.05.2026	Award ceremony and exhibition during the Silesian Multicultural Picnic at Maple Bear Katowice

How to participate?

Register: Fill out the online form (available at the bottom of the page)
Prepare your work: Create an art piece according to the theme.
Attach documents: Download the entry card and declarations (attachments 1, 2, and 3 below), fill them out, and sign.
Send: Deliver the work along with the documents (in person or by post) to the address:
