Meeting with Dr. Maciej Dębski on Digital Hygiene Among Children and Youth at Maple Bear Katowice Private Preschool and Primary School
On April 5, 2025, at 10:30 AM, a special meeting with Dr. Maciej Dębski, an expert in digital hygiene, will take place at Maple Bear Katowice Private Preschool and Primary School. The lecture will address key issues regarding the impact of modern technology on the mental and physical health of children and youth.
Dr. Dębski, President of the “Dbam o mój zasięg” Foundation, has been engaged in digital challenges in education and parenting for years. He will share practical tips on how to develop healthy electronic media habits among children. The meeting is designed for both teachers and parents who want to better understand how to balance the digital world with reality. Participants will receive practical tools and advice on introducing healthy digital habits into their children’s lives, as well as guidance on supporting them in difficult moments related to technology addiction.
At the same time, digital hygiene workshops will be held for children aged 6-10. The youngest participants will learn about the signs of smartphone addiction and explore alternative ways to spend their time. They will also create a digital hygiene code and their own smartphone storage box!
This event is a great opportunity to deepen knowledge about responsible digital media use and to exchange experiences and ideas on digital education for children and youth.
