Canadian bilingual school Maple Bear is looking for a school director to actively participate with us in the process of building a network of Maple Bear schools and kindergartens in Poland and to lead the first facility in the country, located in Katowice.

Job Description:
The role of the Director is to effectively implement Maple Bear operational processes, procedures, teaching methodologies and academic principles. The Director must be well versed in Polish curriculum and able to conform to local education policies and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports all strategic plans, administrative matters and operational tasks related to the agreement between Maple Bear educational centre and Maple Bear CEE.
- Supports the school academic staff in the implementation of local and Maple Bear curriculum.
- Supervises enrolment, student records, licenses, invoicing and authorizations through the MC CEE Operational system.
- Shares Maple Bear methodology, values and mission through open houses, newsletters, meetings and social media.
- Observes and complies with local laws, ordinances and customs.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures and directions.
- Collaborates and communicates with staff, suppliers, external stakeholders, local and state officials, Maple Bear CEE and Global Schools teams.
The ideal candidate:
- A university degree in education and qualifications for the position of Director (or in the process of obtaining qualifications) with a specialization in preschool/early childhood education.
- Experience as a Director or minimum 5 years experience as a teacher.
- Excellent English language skills – C1 level minimum.
- Passion for education.
- Demonstrated leadership, management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respect timelines.

Academic Co-Ordinator
Job Description:
The coordinator will be the curriculum leader in the school supporting teachers and staff in providing high quality education based on Canadian philosophy and best practices in a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implements policies, programs and curriculum activities that promote the educational development of students and the professional development of staff.
- Assures organizational efficiency by planning for communication, scheduling and effecting running of the school programs.
- Supports teachers with lesson planning, curriculum implementation, resources, teaching methodologies, assessment of students, behaviour management .
- Works collaboratively with teachers on an individual and group basis to share and discuss teaching strategies.
- Plans and facilitates on-going communication with parents and the community.
- Works in partnership with Maple Bear Global and Regional teams to create and enhance local curriculum and documents.
The ideal candidate:
- A university degree in education – a degree in pedagogy (master’s degree) with a specialization in preschool/early childhood education.
- Excellent English language skills – C1 level minimum.
- Previous experience in an educational leadership role.
- Passion for education and implementing new pedagogy.

Job Description:
The teacher plans, organizes and implements the Ministry of Education’s core curriculum and Maple Bear Instructional program in a positive learning environment that guides children to develop and fulfill their potential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement the Ministry of Education’s core curriculum and keep records in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s guidelines.
- Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials following the Maple Bear curriculum and teaching methodology.
- Manage student behaviour in the classroom by establishing and enforcing routines, rules and procedures.
- Assign and grade class work, tests and assignments.
- Observe and evaluate student progress and use this information to guide teaching strategies.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
- Prepare student reports and communicate progress regularly with parents.
- Communicate the curriculum to parents through open houses, meetings, newsletters, etc.
- Participate and assist in school activities and meetings.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and training.
