Maple Bear Wrocław
In September 2024, Wrocław welcomed the opening of its second Maple Bear Polish-Canadian school and preschool, following the one in Katowice. Our new branch will be housed in the historical building at Kościuszki 84. This venue once served as a primary school and, in the 1970s, as a boarding school. However, for many Wrocław residents, this address is more notably associated with the Wrocław School of Jazz and Entertainment Music, which opened its doors in 1998. After the school's closure, the building became part of the Maple Bear network.

Admission Policy
At Maple Bear, we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families while ensuring that every child is set up for success within our bilingual education framework. Our admissions process is designed to provide a smooth and transparent experience for parents and students. Below are the standard steps to follow when applying to our school/ kindergartens (please note that steps might vary based on the country and grade requirements):
1. Schedule a Visit
The first step in the admissions process is to schedule a visit to our school. This visit is an opportunity for you and your child to explore the Maple Bear environment, meet our team, and gain a deeper understanding of our bilingual curriculum. During the visit, you will have the chance to ask questions and see our classrooms in action.
2. Visit with Your Child
We encourage parents to visit the school along with their child. This allows your child to get a feel for the school atmosphere and engage in introductory activities. Our team will also have the opportunity to observe your child in an informal setting, ensuring a smooth transition should they join the Maple Bear community.
3. English Language Assessment (if applicable)
Depending on the grade level and the school’s requirements, your child may be asked to complete an English language assessment. This assessment helps us understand your child’s language proficiency and readiness for our bilingual program. The need for this test varies, and our admissions team will inform you if it is necessary.
4. Final Approval
Once all steps have been completed, including the school visit and language assessment (if applicable), our admissions team will review the application. You will be notified promptly regarding the admission decision. If approved, the next step will be to complete the enrollment process via our parents portal and prepare for your child’s first day at Maple Bear!
